Bobble Heads Galore!

Well I had a great weekend with my family and when I got home last night late I got the mail and got my package from TRU.com with the other TRU Exclusive of Weapon X Wolverine and Silver Fox.

I also got Special Ops Wolverine and Deadpool even though these are in the normal wave coming out soon because having an extra deadpool is just fine with me and an extra Wolverine to trade is always good.

My brother Ben was down from Boise and he and his family got me a great gift for graduation (I graduate this coming Friday). Not only is this a cool present but they actually got me something of Star Wars that I don't have yet! These are SW Bobble Heads and here we have a Tusken Raider,

Darth Vader (which is great to go on my DV collection shelf),

Exclusive clearance

At Target today I see this SW battle pack set of the Showdown at the Sarlacc with the Pit of Carkoon a Skiff and the figures you see here. Normally this set is 55$ so I would never consider buying it but it so happens that this set was on clearance for 30% off before but still almost 40$ so still a no go, but today it was marked down to 13.74! Well I couldn't pass up a smoking deal like that more than 75% off so I snagged it and came home and opened it up and well it is not even worth what I paid for it. I was severely diappointed and got super glue all over myself trying to improve the Sarlacc. . . anyway the Skiff if cool so that is all I can say about this. I guess I learned my lesson that just because it is a great deal doesn't make it a great buy!
Then on my way into work I went into TRU and voila they had the next wave of exclusive minimates from the Wolverine movie (which we are seeing at midnight in a week!) There are two sets you can only get at TRU here we have Agent Zero and origins Wolverine. The other set I got on TRU.com last week and it is in the mail.
Then they also have a bunch of the minimates from the actual wave of minimates coming out here soon and I picked up this set of Wolverine and the Blob because when I get the actual wave I will be able to display a Blod (as you see him here) and the nonblob figure (which I will post a pic of when I get the wave) But since I have them now and they are new they bring my total minimate count to 555!

Best version of IM

Here is Iron Man from Wave 2 of the Marvel Universe 3 3/4 figures. I like this one better than wave 1 because this classic version is my favorite version of IM.

Mugg Shot

I found wave two of the Transformers Mighty Muggs at Target yesterday and Xander helped me choose this Starscream over Grimlock. So here he is in all his smirking coolness with some really cool wings.

Here we have last month's MOTU classics figure FAKER! I missed getting him on mattycollector.com so I had to get him on ebay (darn scalping toy sellers!!) This is a great looking figure and the first Faker I have ever owned, I never had the original and I missed the Toyfare exclusive 2002 collection figure so I had to get this one and he is great! The title of the post refers to a recent episode of Robot Chicken that has a Faker sketch that is one of the best of all time!!!!

551 and counting. . . . .

So from a reference from my minimate forum I found a great comic book store website zeuscomics.com where I found a smoking deal on some minimates I didn't have (they had great deals on all their minimates but I only bought the ones I didn't have) they were all 50% off and I also got some comics 50% off and shipping was reasonable and it shipped on Saturday and got here today (Monday) so the shipping was super speedy. Here we have the Season 1 2 pack for 24. This set includes Jack Bauer and Andre Drazen.

Then here we have the Battle Damaged Spirit and the Formal Wear Sand Saref (I haven't seen this movie yet but will be seeing it this week but this set was such a great deal it was not to be passed up). This brings my minimates total to 551 and with a whole slew of new normal releases coming up and a massive amount of SDCC exclusives being announced in the last little bit this really be, as it is being called, the year of the minimate!!!

I had told myself that I was done buying Robot Heroes but when I saw this pack on sale and it has Rumble who is one of Soundwave's tapes I just had to get it. So here we have Rumble and Arcee (the one female transformer).

Then I also found this wave two Indiana Jones Mighty Muggs of the Monkey Man on clearance for 2.48$ so I had to snag him up. He is the only Mugg from wave two IJ that I have seen and he has the little monkey so hey swee deal!

Legos on clearance can't be passed up.

Today is Breanne and mine's 7th wedding anniversary and on friday we went out to a movie and then to Olive Garden for dinner and since the wait for a table was like an hour we walked over to Shopko for a bit. I was on the clearance aisle and found this Lego City set the Coast Guard rescue helicopter set which is normally 40$ on clearance for 23$ which is a great deal for a lego set so I had to snag it up, of course it is a cool set too so I didn't just buy it because it was cheap I bought it because it was cool. So Xander and I put this together this morning.
