Mint in Bag.

It is still amazing to me that we went to SDCC this year and I in all my minimate obsessiveness did not know about this here exclusive until I had come home. This is the exclusive red dress Six minimate (which is essence is just the body of the series one red dress Six with the head of the Pegasus six from the Razor box set). Anyhow I found a member on my forum BannersID and I traded him some Cylons and pieces of the ML BAF Galactus that I had and voila here she is (after three weeks of mail trouble to get her here) I couldn't bring myself to open here to she will remain MIB. No that is not Men In Black or Mint in Box it is Mint in Bag.
Here is the back of the bag with the SDCC symbol.

The eye of the . . . . um tiger?

So this was another minimate trade with TITAN from the minimatemultiverse and I only got this one because it was a minimate I didn't have and TITAN wanted an extra I had so here we go. I told myself that I wouldn't collect Rocky minimates but I am glad I got this one because it is a good representation of that line of minimates (I will probably purchase the Rocky 3 set if it ever comes out because it has a bunch of cool ones in it) Anyhoo you can see his robe says Italian Stallion on it which is great. I guess with all my extra minimates I could trade and get all the Rocky minimates but for now this one will do.

Addition to Hall of Armors 1

A few posts ago I stated that the current wave of IM figures had a Stealth Iron man in it, well here is the figure that I thought was Stealth IM but actually he is called Torpedo Armor IM. This is a cool figure but he came out of the package with his legs a little warped so standing him up is a little difficult. Another issue I have with it is that the missile launcher on the right shoulder doesn't actually work, you can't get the missile to snap into it at all it only goes into the hole about a centimeter I think either mine got a bum launcher or they made this piece poorly anyway atleast the figure itself looks cool and now my Stealth IM minimate won't be the only IM figure I have with the blues!
After I picked up that IM figure I thought that I hadn't been to Kmart in a while and so I stopped to see if there was anything good and if we are talking about new stuff than no there was nothing of interest. However as I was looking at the SW stuff I see this AOTC (Attack of the Clones) 12" Jango Fett large size action figure (yes that is man terms for doll). This figure is from 2002 so even seeing it on the shelf is a surprise but this figure is awesome because he has removable armor and he was only 10$. I don't know what normal sale price was on this guy but it couldn't have been any less than 24.99 so more than 50% off meant that this was a great deal and cool thing to add to my SW collection even though I don't really have a lot of prequel trilogy stuff.

Suit up!

Thanks to my minimatemultiverse forum relationship I was able to trade with TITAN who lives in England for this Star Trek Series 1 Dress McCoy variant minimate so now I have all of the ST minimates. I have a couple of other trades coming in the mail. It is great to be able to associate with other collectors and help each other out.

Batjet awesomeness

You may remember that I purcahsed the My First Batmobile on clearance at Target a few months back and it was awesome. Well today I got the My First Batjet at Walmart on clearance for 11 bucks and it is even awesomer (yes I know that is not a word). This toy makes sounds but the coolest part about it is that you hold the wings and point the jet away from you and pull the wings back and it shoots discs out of the front and man do they go fast and hard (probably not the safest toy for a small child so good thing I am a big child!). This would be a great toy (sans discs) for a toddler which is proven by the fact that Mara loves this and the Batmobile.
Then here we have the first of quite a few comic 2 packs that are coming out that are all on my want list. Here we have the Legacy set with Darth Talon who was on the cover of issue 0 and then Cade Skywalker, descendant of Luke, disenfranchised Jedi and all around great character and great comic series. This obviously got opened to go on my characters with lightsabers shelf and the other Legacy pack is Imperial Knights which I am actually even more excited about because the figures look awesome.

Toys collection evolving.

So there are several new three figure sets in the evolution series and this is one I had to get since it has some original trilogy figures and an expanded universe character. This set is the Rebel Pilot Legacy (II) set and it comes with Cesi Eirriss the female Twi'lek pilot from Rogue Squadron. Kesin Ommis who was a snowspeeder pilot in ESB and then Keyan Farlander who was a pilot in the Battle of Endor in ROTJ. There is another set (I) for this collection that I will get eventually I just liked this set better so I got it first.
Here we have the battle droid that didn't come in my jedi starfighter set I got a few weeks ago. I sent Hasbro an e-mail because it was not in the package and was displayed as coming with the set and so they sent it to me and voila here is.
Then here we have one last McD toy (since now they are doin Batman lego toys) here is Padme and her Royal Starship. So there were five McD toys that I didn't get so if I get obsessive about it I may just have to eBay them (atleast they won't be too expensive to get that way).

Rancor VS Queen Alien VS Power Loader, who would win?

Despite the fact that this new Galactic Heroes set is 3/4 stuff I already have it was still a must have because of the 1/4 which is the Rancor. This Rancor has a mouth big enough to eat the figures and then a backside that flips open to make sure you can get your figures back out once they have gone in. I am so glad that this set came out quickly after SDCC because I hate seeing something cool that I want and having to wait like 6 months before I can get it.
So quite a while ago I saw a prototype for a Power Loader Kubrick toy from the movie Aliens and I knew I had to have it. Then when the set came out it was 70$!!!!! so my dreams were gone. The set has been out for quite some time and last week I was looking on my minimates forum and someone posted a link to a sweet Aliens Kubrick deal so I clicked on it and voila here was this set that I wanted and it was only 20$!!!!!!!!!!!!! So I snagged that up quicker than . . . . .well quickly. So this set has a power loader, Queen alien, 3 soldier aliens and 4 eggs.
Here is a more closeup picture of the set.
And here is the reason that I wanted the set. This Power Loader is one of the coolest toys I have ever got! Despite the fact that Kubrick are nowhere near as cool or articulated as minimates this set is great just because of this loader I LOVE IT. I love this movie it is definitely in my top 10 favorite movies of all time so that makes this toy even cooler to me.

Hall of Armors begins!

It is so great to now be getting some of the toys that I saw on display at SDCC. For example this Concept Captain America armor Iron Man. Talk about an awesome combination!
Then there is this great looking satellite armor Iron Man. This wave also has a Stealth armor in it but it wasn't at the store today so the hunt begins! I love Iron Man figures, despite the fact that they are just repaints of the same mold (which usually pisses me off) they are great and for some reason I can't get enough of 'em.
