Terminated!

So I picked up the TRU packs of the brand new Terminator 2 Judgement Day minimates and these are so awesome. Here we have the T-1000 which has an alternate version that I will display when I actually get wave 1 and also the Battle Damaged T-800 even with his arm torn off and his molten legs from when he gets lowered into the fire at the end of the movie.

Here is just the T-800 and an Endoskeleton. There will be a bunch more endos when I get the single packs here soon.

Then this is the actual exclusive to TRU it is a SWAT officer and then Assault Gear T-800 with the most amazing accessory every in this Gatlin gun! I hope these do well so that they will continue to make more these are TOTALLY WICKED!

Minimates how I love you, let me count the ways. . . . .

There are few things I like more than getting new minimates in the mail. Waves 25 and 26 of Marvel showed up yesterday in the mail. I only had time to open them up then we went down to our cabin so I am posting these quick today before I have to go to work. This here is Wave 25 Variant Bolt Face Iron Man (he actually has an additional helmet with a nose on it) and the Aim Soldier. I love Iron Man minimates especially since he is my all time favorite super hero!

Then this is the regular Classic Iron Man from the wave along with another Aim solider. Normally I would take the extra guy from the wave and trade him on my forum but where this is a nondescript character like a stormtrooper it doesn't hurt to have two!

Then here we have the Red Hulk (who was created by General Ross and no one knows who he is) and Ska'ar who is the son of Hulk. He has a masive sword and a great sheath on his back to hold it.

Then here we have "Bucky" Barnes Captain America who took over being Cap after Cap got Capped. . . . .(yeah I know dumb joke) and then following the Villains box set not to long ago we have another Red Skull although I like the look of this one better than the other.

Here is wave 26 which is the rest of the Wolverine movie wave which I already got some from TRU (see previous post) So here we have on the left the variant for the wave which is special ops Sabretooth then we have Logan and the just Sabretooth. So these were the three from the wave that I didn't have yet.

Then since I got a duplicate Blob when I got this wave I will display this which is the same figure but without the bob on it so it is just Frederick Dukes. So there we have it. The next group of minimates coming out is supposed to be the T2 stuff so I am antsy to get me some of that!

Cosmic Enforcer

Luckily this month's MOTU Classics figure was a little easier to get than last month's. Breanne sat at the computer and placed the order right when they went on sale last Friday and it got here yesterday (which is pretty fast I might add) Here we have Zodac the Cosmis Enforcer. He is a little more plain than some of the other figures but still looks awesome like all the others. Next month is Hordak which I am confident will be one great looking figure.

The trouble with tribbles

Well a great member, minijeff, on my minimates forum traded me for this very hard to get Trouble with Tribbles Kirk which is one of the original 2" minimates from way back when. So now I have all of the ST 2" minimates so wahoo. Now my most wanted list is down to only two! I also have a bunch of minimates coming from BBTS next week as well as a new MOTUC figure so yeah that will be awesome.
So we got a new car this week, unfortunately not the one pictured here. We got a Dodge Grand Caravan and the dealership also sells Mustangs which Xander and I adore so the sales guy took Xander and I out for a spin in this super charged Shelby! Man it was the best ride in a car I have ever had he got out on a straight away and ZOOM it was like riding Screamin at California Adventures!

Scrapped

On the way home from a work party in Salt Lake at Boondocks this last Tuesday we stopped (large detour) by the new Saratoga Springs Walmart so I could check it out since I like to check out the new Walmarts and I found this here GI Joe 2 pack of Scrap Iron (who is the one I wanted because I had him as a kid) and Wild Bill as a crazy repaint so I didn't really care about him but Scrap Iron is a great redo of that original toy!

Proof of a wife's love!

So after the most horrendous experience trying to order this MOTU Classics Mer-Man from mattycollector.com my wife made my day by ordering me one from ebay and boom it was here within a couple of days and it didn't cost too much more than ordering from mattel. This is one of the best looking figures (as all of the MOTUC figures have been) EVER! I love this figure and I am so happy to have this especially since my 2002 Mer-man is the second issue repaint so I didn't get the original of him so to get the original of this one is awesome and he is chic a la huit!!!! Thanks babe I LOVE YOU!

Graduating to awesomeness!

I graduated from college today and what better way to celebrate then to get a package in the mail from BBTS! I got this here Legacy Collection Joker Squad pack which is an Entertainment Earth Exclusive that was unveiled at SDCC last year but just was barely released about a month ago.
The pack includes Lord Maleval (this is from the Legacy comics by the way) who is a Quarren Sith (very cool) then you have sergeant Harkas and Anson Trask.

Next we have the first female stormtrooper figure Jes Gistang and then Hondo Karr and Vax Potorr. I had to get this set for several reasons; first female stormtrooper, second character with a lightsaber, and third it is from the Legacy comics which I collect and think is an incredible series.
Also in my package was a sight for impatient eyes my Heroes and Villains minimates sets. Some of these were released last month at TRU in two packs and I did't want to get them because I knew I would be getting these packs eventually with minimates in them that aren't at TRU but it was difficult to not buy the ones at TRU. Here we have Wolverine, Captain America, Spidey and Hulk.

In the Villains set we have Magneto, Dr Doom, Green Goblin, and the very first Red Skull!!! The villains sets is awesome I love the Doom minimate the best of all of these. There should be a bunch more new minimates in the next couple of week so YIPEE!!!!!
