Warrior Goddess

Well this is a great day to finally get Teela after the craziness of Mattycollector.com and shipping these subscriptions. She comes with an alternate head with her snake headress and the snake staff and Zo-ar too. The package says, " The adoptive daughter of Duncan, the current Man-At-Arms, Teela grew up in the palace of King Randor. Trained from an early age in the ways of battle, at 18 she became a Captain of the Guard, leading Randor's troops and acting as a defacto member of the Masters of the Universe. She has yet to become aware of her true heritage as the magically cloned daugher of, and heir to, the Sorceress of Castle Grayskull. She carries the Staff of Ka which was once used by the Snake Men in their epic battles against the Horde and king Grayskull during the Great Wars. Teela uses her magical staff to track her foes' every move!"
This here is one of the very first minimates ever made in AA's Rock series we have here Ozzy Osbourne. I wouldn't normally care about getting this but I traded with someone on my forum for something he wanted so I figured I might as well get a minimate that I don't have. He looks crazy eh!

So misunderstood.

When I saw this NECA figure of the Brainy Gremlin from Gremlins 2 I couldn't pass it up as the Gremlins movies are some of my favorite of all time. This particular character being on the top of my list. It is just a cool addition to my collection. The Gremlins were just so misunderstood as Brainy explains in the movie, I mean just look they can't be all that bad. . . .right?
This here is not the figure for October for MOTU (as I am still waiting on receiving this month's figure), this was the bonus figure for the month and thus was ordered seperately from my subscription. This is Zodak, not to be confused wtih Zodac from a few months back. His card says, "An ancient and powerful enforcer for the Council of Elders, Kar-tor studied the teachings and mystic fighting techniques of the Cosmic Enforcers and knows how to instantly identify an opponent's weakness. After his mentor, the original Zodac left Eternia to fulfill the Elder's bargain with Trolla, Kar-tor took his place ont he Council and helped lead them in battle against the Snake Men, eventually trapping King Hssss in the Void with the power of his staff. Although he prefers a solitary life of meditation in the Mystic Mountains, when he is called to battle, Zodak attacks his enemies using all the power at his command." I have said it before and I will cotinue to say how amazing I think these figures are. I wish they were at normal retail stores so that I didn't have to pay for shipping cause that sucks but otherwise these are worth it.

Secret Pilot Factor. . . .

So I picked these first two things up about a week ago and am just now getting around to posting about them. First here we have the Rebel Pilot Legacy box set series III (and yes I have series I and II). This set includes Red Squadron pilot John Branon, Rogue Squadron pilot Shira Brie (whoe later become Lumiya for all you who read the LOTF series), and the A-wing Pilot Jake Farrell. I had to snag this box set as it falls under the categories of SW stuff that I still collect (namely Rebel Pilots, Characters with Lightsabers, and Expanded Universe).
Here we have the Clone Wars version of Luminara Unduli which I puchased to replace my Ep II version that I didn't really care for and recently sold. This version is much better.
Then today I went to TRU and they had out the new TRU wave of minimates (woot woot) and so I picked up the two TRU Exclusive sets. Here we have Molecule Man and Spiderwoman from the Secret Wars comic series and they are to go along with the Secret Wars box set that is coming out at TRU in the next few weeks!
Then we have X-Factor Angel and Warpath which are to go along with the AFX X-Factor 4 pack that will be coming out sometime in the next 6 months or so I would imagine.
