Mos Eisley Invasion

Well it has been a while since there were any new Star Wars figures out and even longer since the new stuff was from the Original Trilogy so when I found these at Target I was incredibly excited. These are all character never made before from Mos Eisley. First here we have Trinto Duaba and Dice Ibegon.
Next we have "brainiac" or Pons LImbic if you want to use his real name.

Then we have one of the craziest looking of them all, Wioslea who is the one Luke sells his landspeeder to before he leaves Tatooine.
Next we have a new cool mold for a Jawa and also a WED Tradwell droid.
Then if you didn't know, this year is the 25 anniversary of TMNT so they are releasing these vintage replica toys and I can't go without getting my favorite of them all DONATELLO! I am sure I will get a couple of others from these anniversary figures but I was excited to pick this one up.
Last but not least we have another new addition to my hall of armor. This here is the Inferno Armor Iron Man. He like most of all the others I have is just a repaint of a previous figure but he is still great looking.

Toy senses pay off.

So while I am student teaching I don't have a lot of time to be going to stores and looking for the stuff that I want so when I had some time yesterday I went to a couple of places. On the way home my toy sense told me I needed to stop at Kmart even though I don't normally find anything there. Well thank you supernatural collecting senses! I finally found the last thing on my GI Joe list. This was one of my favorite GI Joe vehicles as a kid. It used to be called the Water Mocassin but is now called the Sting Ray and it came with the pilot Copperhead who was one of my favorite figures as a kid. The boat itself is amazing it has features I didnt remember, it looks great, and is just awesome all around. The only problem I have with this is that they made the Copperhead figure the Pythom Patrol version so he looks different than the original which is a bummer but the boat is what I cared about most and I have it now and am very satisfied.

I just have a thing for redheads.

So last year at comic-con I got the exclusive Snake Eyes and Timber COmbat Heroes set which is the GI Joe version of Galactic Heroes, Robot Heroes, Adventure Heroes, and Superhero Squad. When wave 1 of these came out I didn't really see any that I just had to have so I passed on those but I came across wave 2 today and I had to have this set because I love Destro and Scarlett (watch out Destro is gonna take off with my 5 euro bill!). I will probably get another pack from this wave at some point because I think it is great too but we will see.

So I found out about this lego set and wanted to get it really bad but I couldn't find it anywhere so I had free shipping at tru.com so I decided to order from there hoping that I would get it in the mail before I found it at the store which would have made me mad, but TRU shipped it on Monday and it got here on Tuesday and thankfully it didn't show up to the actual store until Thursday so I had mine already put together and this is a great lego set from TCW and my first Mace minifig lego.
Here we have Darth Revan in Mighty Muggs form. I wouldn't have normally purchased this one but I got a Walmart gift card from work because I have been on time for my shifts for a very very very long time in a row so I picked this guy up, he looks pretty cool and for free I won't complain!

Minimates, Trek and Wars

So I found this great Galactic Heroes set (my collecting of these is winding down a little as I will only be getting certain 2 packs here and there now) that I could not pass up we have Slave Leia with a pike and drink servin' R2 from ROTJ. Can't pass up a Slave Leia!
I got a butt load of minimates today so lets start with the set that came out in November but I waited to have it shipped till my other sets came into stock to save on shipping. This is ST wave 5 that has Gul Dukat the Cardassian and then Captain Sisko (he's the bald one with the goatee) and then the variant for the wave that is Commander Sisko.
Here we have Ilia and Commander Decker from ST the Motion Picture.

Then we have "The Trouble with Tribbles" Kirk (who doesnt come with any tribbles!!!?) and Yeoman Rand who is a great looking minimates. There aren't any upcoming waves of ST announced so hopefully they continue the series there are so many more characters that are needed especially from TNG (They have cancelled upcoming BSG minimates though which pisses me off something royal so here's hoping they don't axe ST too).
Since I got more of wave 24 I can now display this alternate version of Venom which is Eddie Brock with his crazy face and he even has a camera!
Then here is the rest of wave 24 that I didn't pick up at TRU a few weeks ago you have Back in Black Spider-Man, Kraven and the Variant Tarantula (which I think is a lame variant especially since his mask doesn't go on his head very well at all, Kraven is much better looking and a cooler character).
Now we have the incredible wave 23 and we will start off with the plainest of them all Cloak and Dagger.

Next we have Gamora (who should actually be holding the sword) and then Nova is is my top ten of best looking minimates yet!
Then last but most certainly not least is Spymaster and then Mark I and II of War Machine. The right side is the Mark I and under the helmet is Tony Stark. The variant is hte Mark II and it is Jim Rhodes. After getting so many IM minimates it is great to be able to add WM to the mix and he looks amazing too. Man I love love love love minimates and so today was a great great great great day!

I don't know what to call this post.

Here we have the Mighty Muggs of Cobra Commander because like I said I wasx pretty sure I would get it. The only thing I don't like about this is that his cape makes it very difficult to stand him up so it actually isn't attached to him in this picture.
Target reset their toys today (but only actually restocked about a third of their stuff) and that included the GI Joes so now I have all the ones I want of the single carded figures. Here we have Sgt Airborne.
Here we have the mine detector Tripwire. Now I am just looking for the Water Mocassin boat and I will have evertyhing I want of what has been announced wahoo!
